Adventure Theatre,
the longest running Children’s Theatre
in the Washington, DC area, is seeking a full-time
Education and Outreach Director. Person is
responsible for the planning, development
and implementation of all of the organization’s
education and outreach programs, both on-site
and off-site, in addition to coordinating
any touring productions to area schools. Person
must establish a strong relationship with
area schools during employment. Budgeting
experience essential. Full medical, dental,
and vision insurance. Position available immediately.

is seeking a responsible and friendly theatre
enthusiast to manage the house on Saturdays
or Sundays. Responsibilities include: opening
the house for the audience, taking tickets,
and being of general assistance to patrons.
Customer service skills and an excellent
ability to deal with the public required.

Box Office Manager |
Adventure Theatre
is seeking a responsible and friendly theatre
enthusiast to manage the box office on Saturdays,
Sundays, and select Friday evenings. Hours
would be Saturdays from 10am-6pm, Sundays
from 10am-4pm and select Fridays from 6pm-9pm.
Responsibilities include: running the box
office (selling walk up tickets, will call
distribution, etc.) overseeing volunteer
ushers and birthday party hosts, opening
the house for the audience, and being of
general assistance to patrons. Previous
work with computer ticketing systems a plus.
Customer service skills and an excellent
ability to deal with the public required.

like to work as a birthday party host or
Saturdays or Sundays. Responsibilities include
setting up the birthday party room, greeting
the parents and children, assisting the
parents with the 1 hour birthday party,
and escorting the party to and from the
